As energy has huge implications for geopolitics, many countries are betting heavily on this. Meanwhile, different industries are tackling this problem from different angles but starting to bump into one another. The technology is interesting but more so is the whole picture of how the innovation process moves forward.
能源是各國經濟政治策略的重要考量，所以中國美國日本等在電池科技的投入和競爭越發白熱化 (有憂患意識的石油國家也要想想第二專長了)。我想書中的這些專有名詞我很快就會忘了，但對我來說最大的收穫是整個電池科技的進化史
首先，它讓我從不同的角度思考，什麼是好的專利和設計專利可能的陷阱。
再來，讀歷史對創新有幫助嗎？
其實現在的最佳作法(或技術/流程/政策，等等)在成為首選之前，勢必是與其他諸多解決方法pk後勝出的。但當時其他選擇沒有勝出，不見得是因為作法不好，有可能是因為其他條件不足(搞不好是超前時代了)，政治情勢不同，或甚至只是運氣不好。那些前提可能隨著時間而改變，也就表示現在最好的作法有被顛覆的空間了。
所以，下次在思考各種創新時，或許追溯那個領域的歷史，把當時條件與當今做比對，可以得到新的靈感~
