在廿一世紀，的確該廣義的思考“工作”的定義，並依此重新設計工作和基本社會福利制度（教育和醫療等等）。
作者也特別提到他後來失敗的事業經驗，讓他體會到好的理想，即使是最善意的，都不能沒有具體落實的經營模式支撐。倒過來說，有什麼樣的運營模式可以適合不同的扶貧項目，真的是可以好好研究一下。
